If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at the moment attacking, then I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is tested. Martin Luther
"Give me one hundred men who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not whether they be clergyman or laymen, they alone will shake the gates of Hell and set up the kingdom of Heaven upon the earth." John Wesley
This is a real good pic of what most of Wesley's ministry looked like, he lived life on the edge...
John Wesley was the founder of the Methodist denomination.
George Fox the founder of the Quaker's.
George was arrested 8 times. He did some hard time in dungeons, and was beat up many times. He had the same mentality as John Wesley or George Whitefield when it came to proclaiming the gospel to the lost; never tell them what they want hear, tell them what they need to hear! When you call sin, sin things change. 75% of Americans today think that there going to heaven in spite of there adultery, fornication, and other sins that the Bible warns against. 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10
I believe that one of the main reasons that most Americans think there going to heaven in there present condition is because of the unbalanced view of the love of God that the seeker friendly church in our nation has proclaimed. Come to our church were give you a microwave and a toaster and we won't mention hell like Jesus did multiple times!! Come join our softball team!!
George Fox got thrown out of as many churches in his day as when he preached in the streets. They didn't want to hear his message, same thing happened to Wesley, Whitefield, and most of the reformers. I loved the preaching of Steve Hill during the Brownsville revival, it was old school! Steve went off of the Word and he is up to date on church history. The message has not changed folks! To become a Christian it will cost you something! You have to repent, you have to walk away from the things that God hates. I'm not saying that when you become a Christian you will be perfect we all still make mistakes.
Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. NKJV
The book of Galatians was not a Gospel tract to sinners it was a letter to Christians..
If you would like to see a typical sermon that Jesus taught in the streets check out the "sermon on the mount" in Matthew chapters 5-7.
Warning the "sermon on the mount" is very controversial as was His ministry. In His 3 year earthly ministry His life was almost always in danger as was Paul's and Peter's and the rest of the apostolic church in the book of Acts.
The reason that the American church isn't currently experiencing any real persecution is because it doesn't act or live on the edge like they did in the New Testament.
John the Baptist's ministry only lasted 6 months because he rebuked Herod the tetrarch for his sin! He was beheaded!! When was the last time an American pastor publicly to there face rebuked somebody?
After some time of being locked up the apostle Paul was brought before Governor Felix and guess what Paul preached on?? Sin, righteousness and the judgment to come! (Acts 24:22-25) I always laugh when I read threw this maybe he could have picked a different topic... The Governor became afraid and sent him away. There went the love offering for that day.
I can't help but think how most of the current churches today would handle the roaring reformer's, especially Martin Luther for nailing his 95 theses to the door of the Catholic church declaring them to be heretics. How much damage was done to the door??? He used a nail?? That was rude!!
It is true that people don't care how much that you know until they know that you care. When your sharing the faith with someone you can say what needs to be said with compassion. Jesus always had compassion for the people, but He always told them what they needed to hear. :-)

I would rather have standing room in heaven than to own the world and go to hell.
There are men in hell because they wasted to much time in trying to find out where Cain got his wife.
The inconsistency is not in the Bible, but in your life.
Better die an old maid, sister, than marry the wrong man.
Too many churches are little more than four walls and a roof.
Going to church don't make anybody a Christian, any more than taking a wheelbarrow into a garage makes it an automobile.
God keeps no half-way house. It's either heaven or hell for you and me.
When picking out a man's coffin, the worst thing to say about him is that he had no enemies.
A man can slip into hell with his hand on the door-knob of heaven.
If you live wrong you can't die right.
When the Lord calls you into a ministry He prepares you for it. I got saved in a small town 120 miles from Salt Lake City were my brother was living.
In Price, Utah I was very involved with recovery Bible studies and reaching out to folks with addictions as the Lord was working on me. (He still is.)
My passion was always for the city and I went up to hang out with my brother Mike and we would go down-town and hand out Gospel tracts and would talk with anyone that would listen.
This was well before Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron had the platform to the body of Christ like they do now. Words couldn't express how grateful I am for there ministry.
When we started out the only Christians that we ran into down-town that were sharing the Faith were some Baptist brothers in Christ. We learned a lot from them. I still keep in touch with a couple of them.
The last New Years eve that I hit in Salt Lake I had the privilege of watching a very polished and well trained team out of Calvary Chapel. Direct fruit from Ray and Kirk's ministry. Now almost every major city in America has a "Way of the Master" evangelism team. Praise God! If your called to be a prayer warrior please keep these teams in your prayers.
In 2002 the Olympics came to Salt Lake and there were thousands and thousands of people there. There was evangelism teams there from all over the country including Alaska.
Some teams were more polished and more trained than others and one or two teams shouldn't have been there.
When I got home from the weekend that I got to spend there, there was no doubt that this was what I was called to do.
I will never forget one team that brought large banners of aborted children. The pictures were hard to look at they were very graphic; I helped this team for about 2 hours and it took everything in me from not weeping. It wasn't just the pic's it was how hardened the hearts of the people were. The hecklers were ruthless. It took me two days in my prayer time to shake it off; every time I thought about it I had to fight back the tears....
77 video clips covering 8 hours of hands on biblical street evangelism...If you want to get good at sharing your faith this link will be life changing!! <//><
David you take this ministry pretty serious don't you?? Real serious!! Everyone on the job site knows I won't look at the pic of there naked girl friend..I don't swear on the job-site.. 90% of my music is Christian the other 10% I'm very selective with..Some would say I have a religious spirit..
Smith Wiggelsworth wouldn't bring a news paper into his house for fear that there might be a lie in it.. (Personally I read the news paper)
There is more to Christianity than holiness!! Loving your enemies..Taking the humbler side..Loyalty..Quick to forgive..Religion is hanging around the cross, Christainity is getting on it!! Real Christianity is going to cost you something..
Luke 13:22-30 And He went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. 23 Then one said to Him, "Lord, are there few who are saved?" And He said to them, 24 "Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying,'Lord, Lord, open for us,' and He will answer and say to you,'I do not know you, where you are from,' 26 then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.' 27 But He will say, 'I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.' 28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. 29 They will come from the east and the west, from the north and the south, and sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And indeed there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last." NKJV
Luke 13:1-5
There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish." NKJV
Just because God expects us to be good, that doesn't make Him bad..
Luke 17:26-30 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. NKJV & Heb. 13:8 ( Note, Jesus said this. Also this is a reference to the end times; His second coming..) This is for our times!!!
2 Peter 2:4-11
For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds) — 9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. NKJV
( I would suggest that Peter learned this from Jesus..)
Luke 15:4-7 The love of God scriptures
"What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them,'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
The Parable of the Lost Coin: Luke 15:8-10
"Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!' 10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." NKJV
Read the parable of the lost son, (Luke 15:11-32) he repented also.. The goal should not be a "sinners prayer", we need to make sure the person is ready to repent..
David how many folks do you lead to Christ?? Everyone I talk to I lead to the Lord.. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make the horse drink..It's up to them to make the radical decision to repent ( turn from sin) and trust Jesus alone as there Lord & Savior.. Christians that shoot for a sinners prayer will have many notches on there belt, but the Lord knows those that are really His!!
We are saved by grace! Repentance is one of the steps.. Does a sweeping sinners prayer at the end of a church service really help?? Unless everyone knows that they need to repent probably not!! A sinner's prayer apart from repentance is worthless.... In Luke 15 there is 3 parables and in all three they repented!! This is the big go to chapter for folks that like to take a one sided view of who God is..God is love..NO DOUBT.. I'm a ex drug addict nobody believes in the love of God like I do..The point is we can't remove repentance from Christianity!! Its the power of God to bring change to our Nation!!

The world may ask, "What's wrong with being transsexual, bisexual, or homosexual? After all, people can't help the way they are born." Do you have a ready answer? This line of reasoning may help you lead the questioner to the truth.
To answer this question, let me ask you another question. Are there such things as moral absolutes? Is there an absolute right and an absolute wrong? Is murder wrong? Is it ever morally okay to murder another human being? Is rape wrong? When would it be morally right to rape a woman? Is pedophilia wrong? If you say these things are absolutely wrong, the next question is, Who says that they are wrong? From where do you get this moral compass that determines if something is right, or if it's wrong?
If you leave God and the Ten Commandments out of the picture, you will more than likely say that these practices are wrong because society says they are. It is the majority that rules. If that's what you believe, then you have to concede that what Hitler did was morally okay. He killed eleven million people—six million Jews, and the rest were homosexuals, gypsies, blacks, Jehovah's Witnesses, the mentally and physically handicapped, and anyone else who disagreed with him. Hitler did what he did with the sanction of the German people. He was voted in as the supreme ruler, and what he did was therefore legal. So according to your philosophy what he did wasn't wrong. That's the corner into which we paint ourselves, if we say that morality is determined by the majority. We believe that might is right.
Before 1962, the crime of sodomy was a felony in every state in the U.S., punishable by a long term in prison, often with hard labor. The majority said that sodomy was extremely wrong, but society's perception toward it has radically changed.
The problem with a society that has no moral absolutes is that it predictably slides down a path of degeneration. It doesn't become morally better; it becomes worse. Nazism and pedophilia become the norm, and consequently, the Bible is hated because it condemns any form of immorality. It tells us that there are moral absolutes; that it is always wrong to murder, rape, and commit adultery; and that God will bring to judgment all those who violate those precepts. It seems a statement of their absolute and unchanging nature, that God Himself wrote the Ten Commandments in stone. Then He added that we violate them by mere thought. If we hate someone, we are a murderer; if we lust, we commit adultery in the heart.
I have often said that the city in which I live doesn't really have a smog problem. Each day I walk outside into the fresh morning air, the sky is blue and the air is clean. All around me, though, I can see a brown haze on the horizon— it is the cities around us that have a smog problem. We certainly don't.
But if I get to 10,000 feet in a plane and look down on the area, I can see a brown smog covering the whole of Los Angeles. When I'm in it, I don't see it, but when I'm above it I can see all things clearly. Look now at the smog of sin, from God's high point of view:
The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. They have all turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is none who does good, no, not one. (Psalm 14:2,3)
From our low viewpoint, there are many good people. But when we see it from God's point of view, we see ourselves in truth. Again, in God's eyes adultery is always wrong. Rape is always wrong. Murder is always and absolutely wrong. So is lust, hatred, lying, stealing, greed, ingratitude to God, and blasphemy. All these things are morally wrong, even though society may say that they are acceptable because they have become normal modern human behavior. So, is homosexuality morally wrong in God's eyes? This is God's point of view:
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9,10)
Homosexuals are "born that way." We are all born with a sinful nature. All of us are born with a propensity to steer into adultery, lying, stealing, fornication, homosexuality, etc. We are born sinners, and that's why we must be "born again." When we are born of the Spirit of God (see John chapter 3) we will have God's normal—desires that please Him.
So, how can you inoffensively tell a homosexual the good news that he can have everlasting life, without offending him? How do you convince him that he must repent of all sin (including his homosexuality) and trust in Jesus alone? The answer is in this verse:
But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine. (1 Timothy 1:8–10)
When the Bible speaks here of "the law" it is referring to the Moral Law—the Ten Commandments. This is what Jesus used in Mark 10:17 and Paul used in Romans 2:20 to show sinners the nature of sin. If you take the time to do what Jesus and Paul did, and take a homosexual through the Ten Commandments, you can convince him (with God's help) that he is a sinner—a liar, a thief, and a blasphemer—who is in desperate need of a Savior or he will justly end up in Hell. And you haven't even mentioned homosexuality; and the reason you have done this is because "the law is not made for a righteous person, but…for sodomites…"

David are you going to comment on this book?? I would rather not comment on this book.. There is a price to pay for having a opinion.. I paid a price for leaving Mormonism.. I try to pick my battles.. I'm going to try to keep this short..
First, I want to say that I'm 'BIG' on unity in the body of Christ.. I try to stay connected with the Lord's people.. I'm a Spirit filled Christian that can go to Baptist Bible studies and get along with folks, learn, and with some effort I can stay out of arguing about our differences..
I can preach the Gospel with the Baptist Street Preacher's that only read the KJV of the Bible, with some effort.. They don't like the NKJV.. Have I had some debate's with some of them about this?? Yes! But I try not to.. I try to focus on the things that we agree on.. They have some very good reasons to worry about loose translations of the Bible that I don't have time to cover here.. In many ways they have to 'try' to let me preach with them because of this issue.. Like I said its hard to have opinions.. John Wesley and George Whitefield had to try to get along with each other because of things that they didn't agree on!! Whitefield, like John Knox and Spurgeon agreed with the teachings of John Calvin.. John Wesley and William Booth were free will guys and they had to try to get along with there brothers in Christ that held a Calvinist point of view.. Ya, but John Calvin was a heretic!! Only those that don't read or study would trash on the great reformer that John Calvin was! John Calvin walked in apostolic authority!! Like those out there that still read will tell you that John Calvin was not a Calvinist like folks who teach on Calvinism do today.. Me personally, I'm a free will guy.. My first couple of years in Texas I read a lot of Spurgeon books and there is a reason why Charles Spurgeon books are still read today!! He will go down as one of the greatest Christian authors of all times! Every paragraph is spiritually rich.. He didn't waste words.. It is said that Spurgeon read a 1000 page s a week! His gift was that he didn't let it go to his head. He studied the Jesus freaks before him, and was a Jesus freak himself. In church history the Calvinist walked in the power of God too!! In many ways they were more balanced than the churches of America are today.. They weren't luke-warm, dead, do nothing, say nothing Christians! They put there lives on the line for the Gospel!!
One of the main reasons that I keep my distance from charismatic churches (that I love to worship in) is because some of them out there think that they can turn the gift of prophecy on and off at there will.. Like a light switch.. I don't flow with this.. False prophecy in the Bible is a big deal!! Only the Spirit of God controls this gift!! Read John Bevere's book.. I don't have the time right now to break down all the Bible verses, but I could easily!! (maybe I will do a part two) John Bevere is a well balanced Bible teacher. I have read half a dozen of his books, a couple of them I have read more than once.. John Bevere is prophetic.. I'm big on trying to do everything pray fully and prophetically..
It's dangerous to teach folks to prophecy by faith..In the Bible real prophets were challenged by false prophets that claimed they were prophesying by the Lord!! There was two books that John Bevere wrote that he got a lot of criticism for. 1- "Thus Saith The Lord". 2 - "The Fear of the Lord". God's people like there cake and ice cream but not there fruits and vegetables.. You can't stay healthy on cake and ice cream..You can grow big churches and get rich just serving cake and ice cream.. Me personally I would rather work a full time job and preach truth, than get paid for teaching watered down, half truths..
I believe in the gift of prophecy!! We need it!! Its biblical!! But this gift looses its power and ability to empower God's people if it can't be trusted!! By the way every one of the hero's of the Faith on this web- site also believed in the gift of prophecy too... They weren't dead men, teaching a dead Gospel!! :-)
(Pat Necerato, Jeff Rose and Robert Parker after a hard day of preaching in New York)
We started out Saturday night preaching at Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. It was a very fruitful night, many heard the gospel and were convicted. One man from Ethiopia was questioning the Deity of Jesus, when his questions were answered according to the Scriptures, he was amazed and left rejoicing!
Another man and his wife took the liberty to run up and kick our speaker and scream in our faces. The authorities arrived later and overlooked the crimes of the people but spent a considerable amount of time giving us much grief for the gospel message.
Afterwards we went to eat and had a great time fellow shipping.
Sunday morning we left for Manhattan New York where the same-sex marriages were being performed. The streets were shut down and the people were lined up all the way down the street waiting to participate in gay marriage. We were threatened, not only by the homosexual community, but the police as well.
Our first amendment rights were violated . We were told that if we did not move away from the event that we would be moved forcefully by the police. When we backed away, they allowed the banner waving homosexuals to take our spot. They continued to press us until we told them that we were going to preach regardless of what they did to us.
God was glorified as we continued to preach the rest of the day!
Jeremiah Cry - Up Date
Thats D K with his hand raised..
We started off at the abortion clinic and then we went to the zoo.. The zoo was dead so we came over here..
7-30-11
We had 5 signs out.. Car windows were rolled down to hear the preaching.. It's always fun when the Holy Spirit is on the corner..
Some would ask why would we preach on a corner like this.. Houston doesn't have a tourist trap that draws large crowds on the weekends like San Antonio, or New Orleans, or other cities. We are just trying to be creative and have a place to target..
Prophetic ??
First ones in, last ones out, nobody gets left behind!!
If you listen to most modern preachers, they will tell you how God can help you. He’s your friend and He’s there for your happiness. He has a wonderful plan for your life. However, with a spiraling world economy, the increase in global disasters, wars, unstoppable diseases, massive floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, tsunamis, and escalating violence, it’s not so easy to make the promise of a bliss-filled future for those who respond to the gospel.
Words mean different things to different people. While some preachers would say that a “wonderful” plan means that God will be with us in the lion’s den, they don’t mention the lions, and so they are disillusioned the first time a lion looks at them as lunch. God isn’t portrayed in Scripture as some sort of divine butler who comes at the beck and call of humanity. There’s no promise of perfect happiness in this life. The Christian life is rather portrayed as the opposite. The Bibles promises tribulation, temptation and persecution for those who live a godly life in this sinful world.
Consequently, skeptics are right when they say that the church is filled with hypocrites—those whose lives don’t reflect what we know they should. And our land is filled with those who think that they were once Christians who have fallen away from their faith. The following letter is typical of those in this category:
“Ray believes I was a ‘false convert’ and was never a ‘true Christian’ the entire time I believed I was a born-again evangelical Christian for many years. I spoke in tongues, had the many gifts of the Holy Spirit, laying-on-of-hands, the whole nine yards.”
He may have thought that he had the whole nine yards, but he was thrown a curveball. Sadly, this person (just one of very many) is almost certainly the product of the false gospel—the promise of an improved life. Notice the “evidence” he cites of his supposed conversion. It was that he possessed gifts, when the Bible says that it is by fruits (not gifts) that a Christian is known.
The Scriptures list the evidential fruits of conversion as the fruit of righteousness (always doing the right thing), the fruit of praise (giving God due praise for His kindness, etc.), the fruit of thanksgiving (having a thankful heart for the “unspeakable” gift of everlasting life, etc.), the fruit of repentance (living a life of holiness—no longer serving sin), and the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, faith, meekness and temperance).
Instead of possessing these fruits, the false convert deceives himself, and plays the hypocrite. He doesn’t come to “know the Lord” because his sin still separates him from God. He holds onto secret sins (lust, selfishness, a covetous heart, bitterness, etc.), and it’s only a matter of time (as with Judas) until he is exposed as a pretender. Many hypocrites stay within the Church, sitting among God’s people—as goats among the sheep--and will be sorted out on Judgment Day.
The reason the false convert had a false conversion is that he didn’t find a place of biblical repentance in the first place. He never saw sin in its true light. That’s why the Ten Commandments should be used in our witness, and not the unbiblical “God has a Wonderful Plan for Your Life” gospel.
Instead of trying to attract the sinners to the Savior, we should rather do what the Bible does. It drives them using the Ten Commandments. It is similar to the way the police may have an amnesty for illegal weapons. They would say, “You are violating the law by possessing illegal firearms. If you hand them in before the end of this month you will not be prosecuted.” And therein is the essence of the message of the gospel. We have sinned against God by violating His Law. In His sight we are criminals. There’s going to be a terrible Day of Judgment, when God reveals His anger against all evil, but He is rich in mercy and offers amnesty. If we lay down our weapons of hostility, He completely forgives us because of the cross.
When we leave off the fact that sinners have violated God’s Law and are under His just wrath, there’ s no reason for them to lay down their weapons. Instead of fleeing to the cross to be saved from God’s wrath because they have sinned against Him, they instead experimentally come to the Savior to see if His wonderful plan is better than theirs. There’s no fear of God, there’s no knowledge of sin (which comes by the Law—see Romans 3:19, 20, 7:7, 7:13), and there is no conversion to Jesus Christ.
A woman named Kim once wrote to us and said that her husband had our video series, saying that she mocked Kirk Cameron and me, calling us “The Hokey Brothers,” and naming the video series “The Won't Work Series.” In other words, she didn’t believe in the use of God’s Law to bring the knowledge of sin, and be used as “a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ” (see Galatians 3:24), and said,
“Late one night the phone rang and it was a very nervous man who said that a woman at Union Station (that's in DC) gave him my business card… It turns out a friend had … double parked, ran to a security guard and handed him my card saying, ‘This is the woman who will answer your questions about God’. He stammered on the phone telling me the story and then said that he had kept the card for a year, thrown it away several times only to dig it out of the trash. Clifton then went on to ask me question after question about scripture. My husband found passages so that I could read directly as I spoke to Clifton over several hours. Well after midnight Clifton was still questioning why he needed God and I went ‘full Ray’. ‘Have you ever told a lie?’ I queried. My husband was pounding the pillow laughing as I was mouthing to him to shut up. Within minutes Clifton's heart changed. He was crying at his need for God and saying that he never knew why he needed Him. We prayed and I never heard from Clifton again. My husband, however, never misses an opportunity to laugh at my now former mocking at Ray.”
So if you are a Christian, make sure you do what Jesus did when you present the gospel to a lost and dying world. If they are humble and have a knowledge of sin, give them grace (John 3:1-5). If they are proud and self-righteous, give them the Law to humble them and bring the knowledge of sin (Mark 10:17-22). Do what Paul did in Romans chapter 2. He said to his hearers,
“You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? You who say, “Do not commit adultery,” do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?” (Romans 2:21-23).
Imitate Paul. Do what Jesus did. Open up the divine Law as He did in the Sermon on the Mount, and show sinners the seriousness of sin and its fearful consequences. To fail to do so is the ultimate betrayal, the terrible repercussions of which will only be seen in eternity.

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. NKJV
A friend invited me to this church, and the Spirit of the Lord was in the house big time!! It was awesome!!

Often in street evangelism I refer to the power, and presence of God in church service's that I go to..
You can't see the wind but you can feel it.. You can't 'see' the presence of the Lord, but you can feel Him too!
Bravery
Today we are in desperate need of brave soldiers for Jesus Christ. It is a very serious thing today to talk about the need of courage and bravery in today's evangelical world. Many sink into their comfy pew every Sunday morning, listening to God's Word, singing the songs, then marching back to their homes without even the acknowledgement that there is a world beyond the normal scope of their lives.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest (Joshua 1:9)
The "Business as usual" mentality of today's contemporary Church in America is a most serious problem. Apathy and indifference to the growing needs and issues that face our Church, families and our Nation today cannot be ignored under the guise of spirituality.
As long as we are saved, and not going to hell what else do we need to worry about right? Wrong!
Is the Christian life just about getting saved from Hell and then getting raptured out of here? A kinda "play it safe" religion with all the bells and whistles.
Christianity confronts and invades all areas of life. This is why the Reformation became the Reformation. When God's people could finally get a copy of God's Word in their own language, they realized something quite remarkable! The common person realized that God wanted to be involved in all areas of their life, not just when we are in Church, or doing something we label as "spiritual."
The Bible does not recognize a separation of Holy & Secular vocations, but recognizes that God is Sovereign and over all, and is Lord of All.
This is why the "Scottish Covenanters" stood on the motto, No King But Christ, because they understood the "Crown Rights of Jesus Christ" that He was King over all, and nothing could be separated from His ownership.
As Believers, we must too cry out "No King but Christ!" We must realize that Jesus Christ is the King, he is triumphant!
Therefore we can go forward into the world with the assurance that Christ is in control, and His Kingdom is advancing.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.(Romans 13:12)
We have been given "Armor" not for our comfort and flight, but to go cross enemy lines and engage in the fight!
Then we can say with Paul ...
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (2nd Tim 4:7)
Let us repent of our cowardliness and fear, and get into the fight.
Be Brave, for the Bible says, The Righteous are as Bold as a Lion!
I pray that the Lord would gives us His strength to Stand and do what He has commanded us to do in these dark and challenging times.
No King but Christ...

"I consider that the chief dangers which confront the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and heaven without hell.” General William Booth
Apostle Booth
The Salvation Army in there early days took the Gospel to the nations threw street preaching and open air meetings..
They preached biblical salvation!! "Is your soul right with God!" They were not embarrassed about hell.. They preached truth with passion!
William Booth was a veteran street preacher.
Booth was so out-spoken about the sins of his time that he lived with many death threats on his life..
A small clip from Ruben Israel's up dated Soap Box
One young believer told me that he had a booth inside the park to give away free booklets and he heard all the commotion outside and walked out to ask me that due to all the confusion around me that it was confirmation that we were not preaching the true gospel. He told me that ‘God is not the author of confusion’ and so I asked him one question. Who caused the confusion at the tower of Babel and eventually he said “God.”
God is not the author of confusion, however He can use confusion as He did with Babel. But the author was satan back in the garden with Eve and don’t for one second consider all confusion to be demonic. Genesis chapter 11 we read where the whole earth had one language and for names sake they built a tower where the top might reach heaven. God saw this and confound their language, that they may not understand each other and stop building. God did this, not satan, not demons, not mankind, BUT GOD. He used confusion but He is not the author, see how that works?
“Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth” Gen.11:9
Funny how people will judge your preaching to be inspired based on the reaction of the crowd, if that is the case they would have had issues with Paul.
In Acts 16 we find Paul and Silas preaching in Thyatira and after causing a stir in that city, they were brought to the city magistrates because they did ‘exceedingly trouble our city.’ So Thyatira was fine living in sin with each other, as everyone was living in peace and harmony, until those guys came to town.
In Acts 19 we read where Paul made ‘no small stir about that way’ as he persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they be no gods that are made with human hands, well the city folks were filled with wrath, and in a ‘great uproar’ they cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. And the very next verse says: “And the whole city was filled with confusion” Confusion was the fruit of Paul’s preaching in that city.
Acts 21 again we find Paul causing a problem “that all Jerusalem was in an uproar” as Paul did not bring peace but ‘tumult’ to that city....
A quick note on this clip: There are many more verses that Ruben could have used to support this argument.. Study the life of the Master!! Jesus stirred the pot to the core.. Moses shook up Egypt! Pharaoh was not happy with Moses ministry.. I think it's fair to say that King Ahab hated Elijah's ministry.. Jeremiah wasn't voted man of the year in his time.. It is what it is..
The church in America wants the worlds approval ! Don't use words like evil or wicked! Don't say God hates.. "Elton John we love you", I heard a popular pastors wife say on CNN!! Elton John has been a powerful voice for the homosexual movement for decades..
False teachers (prophets) always have a few things in common! 1. They are more concerned about what people think about there ministry than what God thinks!! Example: only say good things about my web-site or don't leave a comment.. 2. They are always giving the Bible a hair cut! Only teach on these subjects and lets avoid those.. People don't like those teachings.. 3. Lets avoid talking about Hell! We will use the "law of attraction instead." 4. Hurricane Katrina, that wasn't the judgement of God on New Orleans that was the devil.. And of course you have Christians standing on the beach rebuking the storm.. 5. American Christians need to read the Bible for what it says and not threw the teachings of TV teachers.. Thats what Mormons do.. The Bible is God's Book!! The Bible is the final authority!! We have the Book so we the people don't get conned!! 6. No doubt the heart and desire of God, is mercy and love and a second chance! Thats the message of the cross! The flip side is that the Son of God was executed for the sins of the world. God hates sin, and will judge sin! Christians are messengers that should teach the big picture of who God is and not just a slice of the pie.. By all means if your sharing your faith and somebody knows there a sinner take them to the cross, show them God's mercy and love for them.. If there arrogant or unbelieving share the Gospel with them in its purity politely and leave them in God's hand..

All of the scriptures below are from Jesus!!
Matt 13:47-50 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth." NKJV
Matt 5:29-30 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Mark 9:43-48 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched — where 'Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.' And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched — where 'Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.' And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire — where 'Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.'
You can't live wrong and die right!!
Matt 24:48-51 But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. NKJV
Matt 24:37-40 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. NKJV
Matt 7:13-14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. NKJV
Matt 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me,'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' NKJV
People deserve to hear the truth! One of the great evils of our times is the unbalanced teachings of who God is!! If you let folks think there 'ok' in there sins there blood will be on your head!! Read Jesus again!! Study the Bible. The Gospel is the power of God to bring change to our nation! To become a Christian you have to repent of your sins, turn away from the things that God hates..

Fun! Fun! Fun! You don't want to miss this opportunity to have an impact on Juarez, Mexico! They say Juarez is one of the most dangerous cities in the world. From articles that I have read I know its not a 100% safe trip. Most ministries have pulled out.. God put this trip on my heart and we will have fun and return safely!! This will not be a window shopping day. Our focus will be on passing out as many tracts as possible in a 8 to 10 hour period.
We will leave the Houston area on a Friday morning (5:00 AM) drive to El Paso and get motel rooms, eat and go to sleep early. Saturday morning at 9:00 AM we will take trolley cars over the border into Juarez where we will pass out between 40,000 to 50,000 gospel tracts written in Spanish. Then we will take trolley cars back over the border into Texas. Sunday morning we will drive back to the Houston area!! I doubt we have any serious problems.. Pray about it! Contact me for more info we will not be giving the times of the trip on the web site. This will take place in the next 6 - 10 months. This will become a regular trip for our team.
