Here are some pictures of some recent
evangelism trips here in Texas, and New
Orleans. If good people do nothing evil will
prevail... It's time to stand up and be counted,
this is our time this is our season to get out
and share the Gospel with the lost. God bless!
About Us
Lone Star Bike Rally 12/08

This is a picture
of my youngest
son Christopher
handing out
Gospel tracts on
Bourbon St in
New Orleans.
We try to make it
over to New
Orleans 3 times a
year for there
larger events.
This is a very
exciting city for
street
evangelism, folks
come from all
over the globe.
Mardi Gras in the
heart of the
French Quarter.
This was in 2009.
Lord willing, we
will be back for
there big Vodoo
festival coming up
this October.
Charles Spurgeon
said once 'that the
best way to
defend the
Gospel, is to
share the Gospel'.
In this hour in
America we need
to be bold.
This is my friend
Silas who lives in
Houston's 5th
Ward. Prostitution
and drugs are the
norm here. This
neighborhood
needs the body of
Christ in Houston
to give up some
Saturdays and
reach out to this
crime infested
area, Jesus would.
This is the Bar
district down town
Houston on New
Years Eve. This is
a great place for
street ministry on
Friday and
Saturday nights.
If every church in
America had a full
time Evangelist,
like they have full
time Pastor's
church growth
would explode!
Just a thought..
This link has
tremendous
resources for
anyone
interested in
sharing there
Faith; books,
DVD's , and a
great selection
of Gospel
tracts.
Outside of the New
Testament the best
book that I've read on
evangelism was
written by Charles
Spurgeon called "The
Soul Winner"
This book might be
hard to find. Here is
the phone number to
Pilgrim Book Store
they have re-published
almost everything that
Spurgeon wrote and
sermons.

My hats off to the many

there that give up weekends to
reach out to there community.
Tent Revival
"The pin is mightier than the sword!"
Above to the left is a Gospel tract that I left in a souvenir shop on Bourbon St. in New Orleans. Top
right is a tract that I left in another souvenir shop in the French Quarter.
Gospel tracts are a great way to spread the Gospel! They can be left in store's, banks, you can
send them off with your mail; the sky is the limit on how many ways that Gospel tracts can be used.
I have walked threw many parking lots putting Gospel tracts on windshield's of vehicles and have
had the chance to share the Faith with folks in store parking lots.
Think about it, if you handed out one tract a day you would be witnessing to 365 people a year!
I have had hundreds of hit's on this web-site just from tracts! Its fun and easy! Hello, did you get
one of these? Have a great day! A simple "hello" walking threw the shopping mall works great for
handing someone a tract. I have handed out thousands of tracts with nothing more than a smile.
People are curios about what your handing them. Sure some will say no thanks but that's not the
norm. If they do just smile and tell them to have a great day. No big deal.
Putting your cell phone number on the back is helpful, or your Church information. Contact
information makes a big difference. A web-site address works great to. It's real easy to get a
custom ink stamp, check out your local office supply store.
Its true that as you begin to do this folks will ask you questions about the Faith. If you can't answer
there question tell them you will get back to them with the answer. Research is fun and the more
topics that you study out the better you will get at sharing the Faith. The Holy Spirit will help you!
You can always ask your Pastor or find a book on the subject in your local Christian book store.

This ministry has a great selection of Gospel tracts in many languages!
World missionaries use these tracts because of there low cost. If your
planing on handing out large amounts of tracts your at the right place!
Father's day weekend in New
Orleans! Me and the Holy Spirit hit
it hard and had a blast! When your
ministering in the French Quarter
your witnessing to folks from all
over the world.
This sign board does a great job of
getting people's attention! It would
be hard for me to say how many
times people have taken a picture
of this sign; many, many times!
Some joking and having fun, some
get pretty upset; and others just
have questions...
Sometimes I get a well
meaning Christian that think
my sign board is to blunt. The
bottom line is that if your not
having real conversations
with folks about the true
condition of there soul your
wasting there time and yours!
Biblical evangelism deals with
the facts! When I'm on the
streets I love talking to folks
its fun, and the sign board
allows you to go to the Cross
faster and to share your
testimony quicker.
The joy of the Lord is a
Christians strength! You can
use a sign board like this one
and still use your since of
humor, and have fun!
Unless somebody is sure that they
have cancer they will never take
the medication or get the
treatment that they need.
Same with the Gospel. Nobody is
going to repent and receive the
gift that God gave them through
the Cross if they don't truly
understand that there sin is
separating them from the Lord.
Most Americans today are
deceived and think that there
going to Heaven in there sin.
Its true!
When I didn't have someone to
minister to I passed out tracts.
I'm big on biblical evangelism!
When I'm beginning a
conversation with someone I use
the same aprouch that a car
mechanic uses in fixing cars.
Trouble shooting. You can't fix a
car until you know what the
problem is.
I was raised Mormon and it was
going to take a whole lot more
than a 20 minute conversation to
bring me out of Mormonism.
I love D.L. Moody's one liner that
he used "are you a Christian?"
And then just go from there.
The key is making sure that when
your talking to somebody that
you give them sound Biblical
answers and responses.
The Bar behind the poster board
(above pic) called the police on me.
Welcome to street ministry.
Dealing with the police goes with
the territory and if you don't stand
your ground you will seldom
minister!
I was on public property and
compeletly legal. A couple hours
later I went threw the same thing
with another Bar. Lol

Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are
evident, which are: adultery,
fornication, uncleanness,
lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery,
hatred, contentions, jealousies,
outbursts of wrath, selfish
ambitions, dissensions,
heresies, 21 envy, murders,
drunkenness, revelries, and
the like; of which I tell you
beforehand, just as I also told
you in time past, that those who
practice such things will not
inherit the kingdom of God.

Peasant Saints invited me to team up with
them again this year to evangelize the yearly
"Gay Pride Festival" with them. 6-26-10
There was a total of 7 of us. We started
off here passing out Gospel tracts as
"ice breakers" to share the Faith.
Together we handed out hand fulls of
tracts and shared the Gospel with lots
of folks.
I really like this style of evangelism
because you can have in depth
conversations with people.
You can see Mac here
holding his bag sharing
the Gospel with 3 people.
It's very common at a
event like this one to have
small groups to share the
Faith with.
Mac is a blessing to the
community and to me! I
love his passion for
Biblical evangelism!
This is my friend Seth and
he is a Peasant Saint
evangelist.
This corner got very brutal
as Seth preached the
Gospel. You can't see how
big the crowd got as he
preached because I didn't
want to risk my camera
getting ruined with all of
the drinks that were thrown
on us. Water, beer,
coke,etc.
The brother to the right of
Seth holding Gospel tracts
preached a powerful
message to a large crowd
under hostile conditions.
His white with black stripe
shirt was red before he
was done from some fruit
punch that was thrown on
him.
When he was done Seth
jumped back on the ladder
and finished up the
preaching on this corner.
We crossed the street and
Mac started us out preaching
with his Bible in hand.
This is part of the
crowd that Mac was
preaching the Gospel
to.
This is one of the
advantages of
open-air preaching
you can really target a
lot of people at once.
There was some hard
core hecklers on this
corner to. Some even
followed us over from
the other corner.
These guys are committed
to preaching the Gospel
in the open-air largely
because of the strong
example of it's use in the
Bible.
Open-air preaching is a
ministry that the Lord is
restoring to the Church..
It's very Apostolic!
You can't under estimate
the influence that is made
threw the preaching of
the Gospel.

It was a pretty mellow
day passing out Gospel
tracts. We had a lot of
fun!
We handed out about 2000
tracts in about 2 and half
hours, and had some
fruitful conversations. We
serve an awesome God!!
Me and my brother
Mike hit this same
event last year and
lots and lots of
folks come out for
the fireworks.
It was a hot and
sweaty day and
when the tracts
were gone so were
me and brother

Out Cry in the Barrio had a 6

see these brothers out
"standing in the gap" and
fighting for there community!
Outcry in the Barrio is direct
fruit from David Wilkerson's
ministry, a real father in the
Faith!
This one looked like it needed two.
One of Mac's favorite
authors is Ray Comfort who

I've ministered on the streets with Christians from
many different back grounds and denominations.
The Lord's prayer in John chapter 17 is that His
people would be one.
We should be able to minister side by side with
brothers and sisters in Christ and not have to
debate secondary beliefs..
I have Christian friends that are very conservative
and some are very charismatic. Respecting each
others difference's is very important!
The goal should be winning our nation to Christ!

Why banners and signs?
I'm going to try to keep this as
short as possible. The day that I
came home from the day of
ministry of these pic's my oldest
son visted me. The Christian
band that he play's guitar for
had just recently returned
home from Cornerstone. Its a
large concert with multiple
Christian bands.
There was some street
preachers there holding signs
against the Christian bands at
the event. Cody was a little
upset over the whole thing and
he had me watch some U-tube
video clips of these preacher's.
I was trying to think of what
proof-text these guys had for
there accusations, because I
sure couldn't think of any!
I took Cody over to
Psalm 150 witch is a
very strong proof-text
supporting the
Christian bands. No
where in the New
Testament do I see any
passage that could
dispute Christian rock
bands.
William Booth (street
preacher) was the
founder of the
Salvation Army back
when the Army was
still apostolic. William
allowed his music
teams to re-wright the
songs that were sung
in the bars! Why
should the devil have
all the good music was
his mentality.
The preacher's also
complained about
some of the bad
language that was
used by some of the
kids at the concerts.
A lot of unsaved kids get
invited to these
concerts and I wouldn't
want to be the one to
ask them leave...
I know in my ministry bad
language is the norm! I
target sinner's and they
swear...Sometimes at
me. Lol
(For the record I love
the Christian rock
movement! Leeland,
Third day, Casting
Crowns, Skillit, etc. Your
in my prayers!!)
Then Cody asked me the
question that sparked
this reply. "What was
accomplished by them
coming out and holding
signs?"
My response was clear and simple. They stirred the pot and put me and you in a situation to
were we had to take a hard look at the Word of God on this subject. That's one of the
ministries of a street preacher.
When William Booth was still alive the Salvation Army fought wars! They had many of there
buildings burnt to the ground, they took on organized crime fighting for teen age prostitutes,
street gangs beat up the street corner preacher's, etc. For there first 20 years they were a
regular in the local news papers. They were very out spoken about the sins of there times
publicly not just in there services. There message was simple "is your soul right with God?"
William Booth studied the life of John Wesley. The Army was not a mean spirited group! From
the worst neighborhoods in east London they raised up missionaries that went to the
Nations!
I had the privilege of seeing Michael Card play a couple of his songs in the Mormon
Tabernacle thanks to some street-preacher's that used banner's at Mormon events.
Some of the teacher's in the body of Christ held a meeting there to apologize for the street
preacher's to the leaders of the Mormon church.
I was living in Utah at this time and witnessed the whole ordeal. The truth is most of the
pastors in Utah were and are intimidated by the strong presence of the Mormon church in
the State of Utah. Most fly under the radar and are unwilling to engage there Mormon
neighbors with the Gospel. One of the bigger churches in the Salt Lake Valley that I loved to
worship in told there people that they shouldn't have any anti Mormon literature in there
homes. (I love these pastors and would still gladly worship in this church)
Let me explain what anti Mormon literature is. Its books that were written to help Christians
understand the Mormon teachings so that when the Mormon missionaries are on your door
step you will have some answers for them. I only remember one source that seemed to be
belittling to the Mormon people. Most are friendly and there goal is to win the Mormons to
Jesus.
To make a long story short the street preacher's shook the State of Utah to the core! They
were all over the news paper's and in the evening news every six months when the Mormon
church has there General Conference meetings down-town. The street preacher's received
some very harsh treatment from Mormons; and the body of Christ in Utah was very critical of
them also.
The times that I made it up to Salt Lake to pass out Gospel tracts at General Conference with
my brother Mike it was a zoo! The Mormon's had hecklers dressed up like ketchup bottles,
super heroes, wizards, to distract the street preachers. Police officer's were always there in
force, some of the street preacher's were assaulted, there was court cases, lawyers...I have
some video footage of this, it's very comical!
Ultimately these Baptist brothers in Christ had folks at home doing some research! The
pastors that were apologizing for them were also put in a position to were they had to deal
with what they were teaching. They stirred the pot to the point to were people were talking
and sharing about the problems in Mormon doctrine. One of my favorite William Booth
quotes is "You can't improve the future with out disturbing the present"
The Civil Rights movement won and fought its battles on the streets of America with signs
and marches! Martin Luther King Jr was thrown in jail many times and was assaulted and had
more than one of his house's burnt down. I still want to make it up to Memphis,Tennessee to
visit the place were he was killed, and hand out Gospel tracts on Beale Street.
Currently the homosexual movement in America has gained some serious momentum by
there yearly parades in the city streets of our Nation. Once a year every city in our Country
has the most vile parade marching down there streets with kids handing out condemns to
the people watching. Back home I helped two Baptist brothers street- preach a gay parade
down town Salt Lake City to my surprise there was 5-6 politicians in the parade and it was by
far the worst thing I ever saw in my life and it lasted for almost an hour and a half.
A couple of weeks ago the Christian band that my son plays in asked me to remove there info
about there band from this web-site because of some negative attention that they were
getting. I promptly removed there link from this site with no hard feelings what so ever. The
street preaching movement in America is still in its infancy and for the most part
misunderstood. Even the Christian rock groups of today had a season when they were
pioneering and folks didn't understand them. I remember when one of the first Christian rock
bands (Striper) came out they had lots of critics!
Even so the Lord's hand is on the street-preaching movement and in twenty years from now
it will be the norm and accepted. Some of the biggest revivals and awakenings in the Bible
and in church history was threw open-air preaching...
Currently the Mormon church has been experiencing some heavy protesting from gays in
Salt Lake City because Boyd K. Packer announced that the Mormon church will not leave its
teaching that homosexuality is a sin. Lots of gays flew in from out of State to protest. This
fight isn't going away Church! To not get involved means we will lose our rights!
Street-preacher's are also debating on banners and signs
A word to my fellow street-preacher's out there that are debating the topic of signs and
banners. First there are different styles and ways of doing things in this ministry. I was
talking with Bob Ross the publisher of "Pilgrim Books" and author of "A Pictorial Biography
of C.H. Spurgeon" and he was telling me about one of the most controversial street
ministries out there. At that time I had never heard of this group. When I got home I checked
out there web-site and it didn't take long to see why they were so controversial.
The next time I saw Bob I asked him if he thought If that ministry was really from the Lord...
This is what he told me...David the Lord didn't appoint me to be judge over the body of Christ
and to declare who is of God and who isn't, besides this they have some strong proof-texts
for what there doing. Bob then went on to say that he wouldn't do everything that they do, or
use all of there tactics, but these are desperate times spiritually for our Country. Me
personally I have no comment on this ministry.
There are reasons that some groups use banners and signs, they bring folks to you and at
the same time send a strong message to the community. Most of the guys that hold banners
preach also and hand out Gospel tracts. The bottom line is everyone should be doing what
the Lord has called them to do. Our ministries and styles should be birthed out of our prayer
closet. No prayer, no power, period! I watched my brother one time at a Utah Jazz game that
we were evangelizing walk up to a ticket scalper and told the man " your parents are
Christians aren't they" the man said yes how did you know? "Mike said, the Lord wants you to
know that there praying for you." Not everyone in the State of Utah has Christian parents.
I had a well meaning street preacher (Way of the Master style) ask me why I didn't run a
sinner that I was sharing the Gospel with threw the Law, I explained to him that I don't use
formulas when I'm talking to folks. (Way of the Master is a God given ministry!) I have seen
guys channel people threw the "Romans Road" and they can get people to say a sinner's
prayer in a short amount of time. To me leading someone to a prayer shouldn't be the goal,
and unless the person is truly ready to repent and live the Christian life your wasting your
time.
I firmly believe that there are street preacher's out there that are not called to use signs and
banners. There in the will of God with there style. We need unity with the street preachers in
America, don't judge the brother or sister in Christ that are taking the same risks that you are
just because there style is different than yours. Most of the street ministry that I have done
has been with out signs and banners, I love hitting a busy street (river fishing) with heavy
foot traffic and passing out tracts until someone stops to talk.
I will close with this. The person that uses signs and banners will have a platform and voice
to there city that the regular open-air preacher will most likely never have. Thats why prayer
is so crucial! What does the Lord have you doing!
Most street preachers that use banners and signs are in the local news papers periodically.
They make the evening news from time to time. Thousands of pictures are taken of them that
are put in articles, web- sites, face-book, etc. They will have interviews from different
groups. A regular open-air preacher seldom gets these opportunities. This link is a good
example of what I'm talking about. Bullet the Mullet
No there not my best friends but they have a link to this web- site on there page. It's all about
influence! God bless!
To whom it may concern: Theres a reason that I don't have a home church; I attend several
churches in the greater Houston area. I had a Montrose pastor demand that I give him my
pastors phone number, but it wont be his church that gets burnt down or vandalized it will
be the churches were I go that will pay the price. I had two girls approach me that asked what
church do I attend pretending to be Christians, and then with in a short time they came back
to my corner holding hands to protest me with more of there friends...I have had multiple
people ask me were I fellowship at. The truth is I attend more than one church and for there
protection I don't give out there info. This link from Pastor Ovadal will help you understand.
The Heart of the matter! Pastor Ovadal is a real nice guy! He sent me down two boxes of
Gospel tracts on this subject a couple of years ago at no cost! As a street evangelist I wont
have these problems because I have strong back up from other evangelists that have years
of experience dealing with this group that have awesome lawyers that win!! The only way to
stop them is to kill them! I've never met a street preacher that isn't willing to die for the Lord,
that would be like a worship leader that wont sing on stage, or a pastor that won't preach in
church..
This group plays for keeps! Churches that are out spoken about homosexuality publicly will
pay a price! They don't play fair...None the less It's easier to fight for our rights than to try to
get them back! We lost prayer in school and having Bibles in school whats next?? In Canada
pastors get fined and thrown in jail for preaching that homosexuality is a sin!!!!! Will America
be next?? Its easier to rebuild burnt down churches and fix broken windows than it is to
recover lost rights. Freedom isn't free and if we don't fight to stay free we wont be!
Churches are afraid of the homosexual movement and rightly so! Everything is a stake! If
good people do nothing evil prevails! We need to put down the fishing poles, and turn off
the football games...Over and out...
